Muscle building with the SPEEDtrainer

What can a muscle do?
A muscle can contract.

How do muscles grow?
In general, two conditions must be met:

  1. The muscle needs to contract.
  2. The muscle contraction needs to be intense enough.
How do you meet these two conditions?

With conventional resistance training (strength training, muscle building, fitness training). The muscle contracts by moving against a resistance, for example with dumbbells or strength training machines. To move against the resistance, the muscle contracts and a movement is carried out. The intensity can be controlled by adjusting the weight.

The alternative way of achieving muscle contraction is electric muscle stimulation (EMS) or SPEEDtraining, which involves muscle contraction by an electric pulse. The intensity of the contraction is determined by the strength of the pulse, and there is no movement required.

Can a training session of only 10-15 minutes be effective?

A conventional training session takes about 90 minutes as all muscles or groups of muscles are trained one by one. Many training programmes are even spread across a couple of days – it therefore takes a total of 4 to 5 hours to train all muscles.

With SPEEDtraining, all muscles (more than 500) are trained simultaneously with very high intensity in just 10 to 15 minutes. The total contraction time of the muscles with SPEEDtraining is at least as high as with conventional training or even longer, and the intensity of the muscle contraction is generally considerably higher than with conventional training.

For successful training results, there are a few more things to keep in mind such as the correct relationship between load and regeneration as well as nutrition. However, these aspects should always be observed regardless of the type of exercise.

At the end of the day, no explanation can replace the experience of the first training session. Any questions not answered by the experience of SPEEDtraining are discussed before or after. Experience SPEEDtraining for yourself!
